CHINA: Guangzhou New Star International Travel live from October 2023 – March 2024. Includes tactical conversion-led activity and dedicated trade training throughout the Pearl Delta region of southern China.
CHINA: 6Renyou & Xinjie Holidays campaign in partnership with TEQ live from November 2023 – April 2024.
CHINA: China Southern Airlines Campaign in partnership with TEQ live from December 2023 – June 2024. Nine key distribution partners were selected to create awareness, develop itineraries and convert holiday visitors to travel to Cairns (via Brisbane) utilising the China Southern Airlines flights into Brisbane.
CHINA: China Eastern Airlines Campaign in partnership with TEQ live from December 2023 – June 2024. Five key distribution partners in Shanghai were selected. The campaigns aim to create greater awareness, develop itineraries and ultimately convert holiday visitors to Cairns (via Brisbane) by directly supporting China Eastern Airlines flights into Brisbane.
CHINA: Zuzuche.com campaign live from May – June 2024. Specifically targeted at the self-drive market and will run for 2 months in the lead up to the northern hemisphere summer holidays.
Japan
JAPAN: Hot Holiday campaign live from November 2023 to April 2024. Showcasing more than 100 tours/experiences in Cairns & GBR region.
JAPAN: Air Trip live from November 2023 to February 2024. Japanese online travel agents that sells Virgin Australia’s service since the new routes stated, and they are one of major seat fillers. Focusing FIT market through eDM, Editorial and its App based on heatmap and user-behaviour.
JAPAN: JTB FIT live from November 2023 to March 2024. One of major business providers to our regions returns. JTB seriously start to sell Cairns & GBR region by working with TTNQ, TEQ, TA and airlines. Our campaign’s main focus is Cairns mono tours. JTB is running online ads to lead customers to their over 300 retail outlets.
JAPAN: JTB West Japan Group live from December 2023 – June 2024.
JAPAN: Tobu Top Tours Group live from December 2023 – June 2024.
JAPAN: World Compass campaign live from December 2023 – June 2024. The digital campaign will reach consumers, along with a wide range of travel agents across Japan, and in addition, target the niche sporting travel market, such as golf.
JAPAN: HIS Kanto Jetstar campaign in partnership with TEQ and JQ live from December 2023 – June 2024. Targeting the youth and family segments with new itineraries including the Atherton Tablelands and exclusive activities on Green Island, there will be promotional activities through TV, online channels and retail outlets in Tokyo and surrounds.
JAPAN: HIS Kansai Jetstar campaign in partnership with TEQ, JQ and Kaiyukan (Osaka Aquarium) live from December 2023 – June 2024. Targeting adult couples, families, and student/youth segments in the Osaka and Kansai areas. HIS will promote the campaign through their channels and will also collaborate with Osaka’s aquarium, Kaiyukan which has 2.5 million visitors annually.
JAPAN: Klook campaign live from December 2023 – January 2024. Targeting Japanese spring holiday (late March – early April) bookings, including families travelling with children, and Gen Z’s. Rent-a-car is one of features. Campaign channels are Blogs, SNS, eDMs and web.
JAPAN: JTB Escorted Kanto Cairns campaign with TEQ and VA live from December 2023 – June 2024. Targeting mature and senior traveller using Virgin Australia. Project includes advertisements using multiple channels to reach the target audience.
JAPAN: Club Tourism campaign with TEQ and VA live from December 2023 – June 2024 Campaign targets Cairns mono tour to both members of Club Tourism and potential members. Conversion-led activities throughout Tokyo metropolitan and surrounding regions.
JAPAN: JTB Corp Mystyle campaign with TEQ and JQ live from January – June 2024. Working with TEQ and Jetstar, targeting honeymoon and couples, familes and youth segments by developing measures to stimulate demand to Cairns. Activities includes TV commercial, digital ads and monitor tours.
JAPAN: NTA Cairns Promotion with TEQ and VA live from January – June 2024. Targeting package tours, MICE groups and Education groups. The promotional activities includes retail outlets displays, online ads, training seminar for staff and special campaign brochures.
JAPAN: JTB Tabimonogatrarii West campaign live until June 2024. Targeting senior/mature age segments. The promotional activities include DM/eDM and advertisements.
JAPAN: JTB Cairns Marathon Promotion live from February – June 2024. JTB create Marathon tours travelling with Cairns Marathon Ambassadors in July 2024.
JAPAN: ARC Three Jetstar campaign live February – June 2024. Jetstar Tours targeting FIT, and ARC Three B2B networks targeting travel agents, including MICE agents.
JAPAN: Hankyu Osaka JQ campaign live from March – June 2024. Cairns mono itinerary is the main focus, and introducing a new itinerary of Cairns and Sydney.
JAPAN: Veltra Cairns campaign starts from May to August 2024, targeting FITs. Veltra is one of major OTA in Japan market, selling tours and attractions.

INDIA: Pick Your Trail campaign in collaboration with TEQ live from November 2023 – January 2024.
INDIA: Make My Trip campaign with TEQ live from 1 March – 30 May 2024. targeting 7 major cities in India to increase lengths of stay, visitor expenditure and product offerings.
INDIA: SOTC Cairns Campaign live from February to June 2024, targeting FIT and group series on 10 different itineraries to Cairns & Great Barrier Reef region.
INDIA: Thomas Cook Cairns Campaign live from February to June 2024, through website, online and print advertisement, in regional languages.
Singapore
SINGAPORE: Singapore Airlines campaign with TEQ live from 1-28 February. Drive bookings to Cairns and Great Barrier Reef directly from Singapore via SQ website, supported by a promotional fare, targeting repeat visitors to Australia includes couples, families and mature segments.
South East Asia
SOUTH EAST ASIA: (Aviation) Indonesia Air Asia live from June – September 2024. This conversion campaign will be utilising the Air Asia brand targeting the Indonesian market for the direct flights from Denpasar to Cairns across paid media. Campaign will include social media, Google display, eDMs, website, and digital publisher partners.
