Tourism Tropical North Queensland Chief Executive Officer Pip Close said CBC Staff Selection owner and president of the Cairns Business Women’s Club Sally Mlikota will share her networking techniques at a workshop on September 13.
“The more ways that you can network, the more benefits you will see in your small business,” she said.
“Workshop participants can put their new-found skills to the test straight after the workshop by joining the TTNQ Member Networking function at the Cairns Museum from 5pm-7pm.”
The networking workshop is open to both TTNQ members and non-members. It is on Wednesday, September 13 at The Pacific Hotel, on the corner of Spence Street and The Esplanade, Cairns from 2.30pm – 4.30pm.
The program is supported by the Australian Small Business Advisory Services – Northern Australia Tourism Initiative, an Australian Government initiative. It is for TTNQ member and non-member businesses (or start-ups) that receive a significant portion of revenue from tourism and have fewer than 20 full-time equivalent employees. Businesses and business intenders can participate in as many activities as they would like.
For more information on the workshop or to book your spot at $20pp, go to ttnq.org.au and click on Resources and then Small Business.
