Tropical North Queensland is welcoming more than 90 international media and tourism trade partners in region in April and May as part of the ATE program showcasing the best of Queensland.
The familiarisation program supported by Tourism and Events Queensland compliments ATE and gives participants invaluable product and destination knowledge of TNQ first-hand, strengthening their confidence in selling our region to the world and generating positive destination coverage in the media.
TTNQ also partnered with Singapore Airlines to host five European journalists accompanied by our European PR manager Peter Mierzwiak and a Singapore Airlines representative in region this week.
Media from Germany and New Zealand dominated the appointments at International Media Marketplace ATE on Sunday when TTNQ’s Liz Inglis had 21 one-on-one appointments with media from Western and Eastern markets and networked with many of the more than 80 international travel media at functions.
