TTNQ is launching campaigns across print and online media as well as billboards to encourage Queenslanders to holiday in Cairns & Great Barrier Reef during the school holidays.
The Spring Holiday Deals campaign which has been running since July is now focused in Southeast Queensland and Adelaide driving visitation through operator deals in the lead-up to the school holidays. The marketing activity to support this campaign is targeting high-intent travellers with social media and online advertising to drive them to the destination’s deals page where they can click through to operators’ websites to make bookings.
Consumers are looking for great value offers and incentives for accommodation, tours and attractions when searching for deals. Members who are a Partner of Tourism or above can submit deals on the page.
The Drive TNQ campaign, Your Drive Your Way, has been redeveloped as an intrastate campaign and will kick off soon with campaign activity running until early October. The campaign activity includes radio, digital display, social, native, print, YouTube and Out of Home.
TTNQ has purchased a four-week package as part of Tourism and Events Queensland’s Days Like These campaign, to run in The Courier-Mail’s Q-Weekend in September. The half-page and full-page advertisements will focus on operator deals and driving visitation to region for the school holidays.
The successful Eco-Luxury campaign activity will continue in the print media, while the social media element of the campaign has been pushed back until October when it will target Sydney and Melbourne.
Summer campaign activity is currently in planning and more information will be shared on this in due course.
