Congratulations to the TTNQ members who won gold and bronze at the 2019 Queensland Tourism Awards and well done to those who attended the event to fly the flag for Tropical North Queensland.
The tourism industry in the Gulf Savannah region should be especially proud of the success in their area. Cobbold Village and Cobbold Gorge each won a Gold Award, while the new Les Wilson Barramundi Discovery Centre and the Gulflander both picked up Bronze Awards.
With one Gold and two Bronze Awards, Paronella Park continues to go from success to success showing that it is important for businesses to innovate to remain relevant in the marketplace.
Congratulations to Small World Journeys for their second Gold Award and to Ingenia Holidays Cairns Coconut for progressing from Bronze to Gold this year.
Well done to Rainforestation Nature Park’s Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience for winning Gold and to Ocean Safari in Cape Tribulation for their Bronze Award.
I wish our six gold winners success in the Australian Tourism Awards on March 6.
