TTNQ hosted an informative Pathways to Sustainable Tourism workshop where members learned how to make their businesses more resilient by adopting sustainable business practices. The workshop outlined pathways for businesses to measure and reduce their environmental footprint, connect with local community initiatives and apply for relevant certification programs. Guest speakers were from Cairns Regional Council’s Planning, Growth and Sustainability department, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland’s ecoBiz, Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, Terrain NRM, and Reforest.
