Major & Regional Event Toolkit

TTNQ and our partners offer a toolkit and resources to assist in delivering your event. This includes the planning stages, sponsorship, grants, marketing and promotion. TTNQ does not own or deliver events, but can assist with destination marketing for specific events.

The Queensland Events Guide

Tourism & Events Queensland have designed The Queensland Events Guide to assist organisers throughout an entire event lifecycle, to ensure they are equipped to stage the best event possible.

The TNQ Event Prioritisation Strategy 2015-2020

TTNQ and Cairns Regional Council recognise the efficiencies and advantages of working jointly to develop a regional event strategy that will guide the region. The TNQ Event Prioritisation Strategy 2015-2020 optimises the community, cultural, environmental and economic outcomes associated with the event investment for Cairns and Tropical North Queensland and develops a framework for event-based decision making.

To find out more information about working with Cairns Regional Council, visit the Event Planning Guide section on their website.

Did you know that @australia used to be largely a rainforest-clad continent? 🌿🌱 The @wettropicsworldheritage rainforest is the oldest remaining patch of this ancient forest, estimated to be over 180million years old 😲 That’s why you’ll find some of the most primitive flora & fauna species here. In fact, there are 700 endemic species within the World Heritage Area that can’t be found anywhere else in the world 🌏
