Time: 11am-2pm

The Ambassadors Program is a shortened version of the Wet Tropics Tour Guide Program and assists those working in tourism to build their knowledge of the Reef and Rainforest as World Heritage listed places. It explains values, stories, benefits of heritage conservation, indigenous perspectives, flora, fauna and landscape values, visitor experiences and a resources list. Attendees will receive a manual, badge and certificate to become an endorsed interpreter or presenter.

Facilitator, Russell Boswell, Savannah Guides

Facilitator, Russell Boswell has a background in education, marketing, tour and safari operation, magazine publishing and tour guide training. Savannah Guides operates across northern Australia providing training and accreditation, conducting guide training twice a year.

For tourism businesses or intenders with fewer than 20 full-time employees. TTNQ members and non-members welcome.
